About Us

Waters & Stanton began in 1973 as a partnership between Peter Waters & Jeff Stanton. From a small lock-up shop in those early days, they grew to become one of the largest retailers & distributors of radio communications and accessories.

Whilst their roots in amateur radio have remained very firm and their leadership in the UK amateur radio market is unchallenged, the company has moved into other areas of electronics and communications.

    Peter Waters, our co-founder and director, has held his Amateur licence, (G3OJV) for over 60 years. An experienced Elmer he produces our highly successful You Tube channel. The channel features product reviews, hints and tips on equipment and helpful guidance for newcomers.

  • Phil Jeffery

    Phil Jeffery

    Phil is our commercial manager looking after the warehouse and logistics, along with the buying and supplier relationships. He is the first point of contact for any new dealer or distributor enquiry. Phil is also a member of the ABTT. (Association of British Theatre Technicians)
