Vectronics VEC-101K - Shortwave to AM Converter

The VEC-101K Shortwave Converter Electronic Kit converts AM or AM/FM radios to short wave receivers at the push of a button!

Listen to a soccer game from Germany, a concert from Vienna, BBC News from London, all news, all talk programs ... etc. Get breaking news from overseas broadcasting stations, BBC, etc. Hear stations all over the world at various times of the day and year.

Choose two 1 MHz bands between 3 and 22 MHz and select them by pushing a button. You can select daytime or nighttime band.

Popular 13, 16, 19, 25, 31, 41, 49, and 60 Meter International broadcast bands are included for listening. An On/Off bypass switch connects antenna to your AM radio. The VEC-101K uses a NE-602/612 mixer-oscillator integrated circuit and tuned input circuit. The kit is powered by a 9 Volt battery (Not included). The kit measures 1¾ x 3½ x 3½ inches.
